Mohd Faizal Shaari – Chairman

A highly experienced field man and has more than 10 years experience in the telecommunication industry. Previously attached to some large equipment vendors, such as Trisilco Folec, Eltek and PERNEC before venturing on his own to develop Helidex Systems. Vast experiences in microwave technology, CME works, building roof tops, cabin and telecommunication towers. One of the pioneers in introducing and constructing the monopole aesthetic tree for Maxis and Celcom Bringing in various technical know-how and large contacts in the telecommunication industry to the company. Graduated from Trent Nottingham Polytechnic, United Kingdom with a Higher National Diploma in Electromagnetic Engineering. He then pursued his Advance Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA before completing his MBA degree in Business Management from University of Maryland, USA.

 Rozzani Baharuddin – CEO

He has more than 15 years experience in the telecommunication and IT industry. Before setting up Helidex Systems, he had working stints with Celcom (M) Berhad and Telekom Malaysia Berhad. He gathered much of the industry and corporate know how, such as project management, operation and maintenance, sales and marketing, total quality management, finance and others while working for the two telco giants. While at Telekom, he was credited with the successful implementation of the State*NET Information Infrastructure Project that brought in revenue of RM 25 millions in his first 3 years there. His large network of contacts, amicable relationship with former colleagues in Celcom and Telekom, excellent business acumen and familiarization with government policies is a great asset to the company. Graduated with a Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Evansville, Indiana, USA.

 Rosman Yaacob – VP, Business Development

Started his career with PERNEC Corporation, a joint venture company between Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) of Malaysia and NEC Corporation from Japan. He specialized in Transmission (PDH, SDH and DWDM), Access Network (DLC, DSLAM, xDSL and WLL) and Broadcasting equipment. Has more than 13 years experience in System Planning, Network Design, Project Management and Sales. He brought in projects worth over RM 800 millions from Telekom Malaysia, Celcom (M) Berhad (including Celcom Transmission, Celcom Timur Sarawak and Celcom Timur Sabah), TT Dotcom and Maxis Communication. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Evansville, Indiana, USA. His excellent business acumen with good negotiation skills are key to Helidex in securing several projects.

 Mohd Afzaini Mamat – VP, Engineering

This young man graduated with an Information Technology Degree from Universiti Technology MARA). He has more than 5 years working experience in the telecommunications industry. His hands-on learning style has contributed to lots of practical experience. While specializing in broadcasting solutions (mainly IPTV, Audio and Video Codec and Digital Terrestrial TV), he also focuses on wireless broadband, VSAT system and IP network technology. His high commitment towards meeting tight project deadlines, together with his project management skills and experiences are crucial in early commissioning of our various successful projects.
